Further Description

Encoder Connector

The VTB Beast motor is designed with circular connectors using IMD (In-Mold Decoration) for easy integration with other VTB products. This provides IP67 waterproofing. Square-shape connectors are also included for separate motor use, though they carry a slightly higher risk of water ingress due to partial PVC coverage.

Sensing Method

Two types of sensors are typically used: Hall sensors and encoders. Hall sensors are widely compatible but have slower speed feedback and throttle response under challenging conditions. Encoders, used in VTB motors, provide premium feedback, precision, and control, ideal for riders performing wheelies or requiring high control accuracy.
