Position Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Staff member for our Receiving Department. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming goods, ensuring operational excellence and accurate inventory. This position will collaborate closely with our Packing/Shipping team to ensure seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspection: Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and label and document all incoming shipments.

• Storage and Inventory Management: Ensure proper storage of received goods, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize warehouse space utilization.

• Inventory Cycle Counts: Periodically checking and counting inventory levels to maintain accuracy.

• Coordination and Communication: Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow, communicating with suppliers regarding delivery issues, and providing updates on shipment status.

• Safety and Controls: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements for handling and storing goods.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all receiving activities, including inventory levels, shipment details, and any discrepancies or issues encountered.

• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline receiving processes and improve efficiencies, helping to reduce costs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to interact effectively with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments.

• Attention to detail is imperative to ensure accuracy in receiving and inventory management.

• Strong problem-solving skills are desirable to address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the receiving process.

• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures is desirable.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software is required for record-keeping and inventory management.

• Must work in our North Salt Lake office, this is not a remote position.
