Description

If you plan to use your OEM battery, but want more power, the smaller TC500 has been the controller to get... in the past.

If you’re looking for even better performance, Torp just introduced their larger, more capable TC1000 for the Surron Light Bee. *TC1000 for the Ultra Bee is coming later.

This new larger controller can achieve even better performance once a more powerful, aftermarket battery is added. To clarify, they both work identically on your OEM battery, but the TC1000 is more powerful if maximum performance is your goal.

The TC1000 controller will work with your non-bypassed OEM battery to produce 7kw (32/34/40ah OEM battery) or 8.5kw on the 38ah OEM battery. For reference, OEM Surron and Segway x-260 is rated at 4.8kw. Peak power of the 2023 Light Bee is 6kw, but that only applies when the battery is above 90%.

Somehow Torp managed to retain all OEM battery BMS functions and will intelligently monitor voltage sag (no cut outs), so you'll have more power at all times.

You can retain all OEM functions (kickstand sensor, brake sensors, kickstand sensor) and continue to use your OEM speedometer/sport/eco switch. The mobile app has a ton of features, but the controller is self-tuning. This is quite-simply put, about as plug-and-play as it gets.

PERFORMANCE: This plug & play controller will boost the power of your Surron Light Bee/Segway X260 bike up to 17kw (oem motor on an aftermarket battery). Pair it with the Torp TM25 motor and get 25kW of pure power. A quick and easy installation and intuitive setup through the mobile App.

For the best performance, Torp recommends pairing it with their Torp Motor TM25 motor.

*Bypassing the battery is not recommended. Doing so can lead to potential risks and may compromise the safety and functionality of your bike. Bypassing is not needed with Torp controllers because the controller works intelligently with your OEM battery's BMS.
