POTENTIAL FRAUD AND RISK POLICY
At Charged Cycle Works, we take your security seriously. In certain cases, orders placed through our website may be flagged as "Potential Fraud" by our automated system. This system evaluates multiple factors to ensure the safety of our transactions. If an order is flagged, we will request the customer to provide a valid photo ID to verify the purchase. The ID must meet the following criteria:
- Must be valid, not expired or undefined
- The ID of the buyer must match the credit card being used. No exceptions.
- The ID of the buyer must match the billing address provided during the order
- The ID must be recognized as an acceptable form of photo identification by theĀ U.S. Government, including:
- U.S. Passport
- Driverās License or state-issued ID card
- ID card issued by federal, state, or local government (with a photo, issue date, and expiration date)
- U.S. Military ID issued by the Department of Defense
- Military Dependent ID
- Native American Tribal ID
- Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)
Charged Cycle Works is unable to process flagged orders without a valid photo ID that meets these requirements. Any orders confirmed as fraudulent will be reported to the appropriate authorities, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Cyber Crimes Department, as well as, local authorities for Wire Fraud.
Cancellation & Documentation Fees: Due to credit card, PayPal, financing, and other transaction processing costs, canceled bike purchases are subject to a non-refundable 3% cancellation fee. Any applicable dealer documentation fees cover administrative processing, including manufacturer warranty registration and documentation required for the Manufacturerās Certificate of Origin (MCO).
Off-Road Use & Vehicle Compliance: This vehicle is sold for off-road use only unless otherwise expressly stated. Certain vehicles may be delivered with factory- or dealer-installed speed or power limitations to comply with applicable federal, state, or local requirements. Removing, unplugging, bypassing, or otherwise modifying these restrictions is done at the ownerās discretion and risk. The purchaser is responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations governing the registration, licensing, insurance, equipment, modification, and operation of the vehicle in the area where it is used. Modifying the vehicle may also affect its legal classification, warranty coverage, registration eligibility, or insurance coverage.
