Description

Fine tune the gearing of your Bonnell 775 MX with Bonnell's custom rear sprocket options. Choose from 20T, 22T, 24T, 26T, or 28T to adjust the balance between top speed and low-speed torque for your terrain and riding style.

The 775 MX comes standard with a 24T rear sprocket, providing a balanced setup for general trail riding.

Sprocket Options

  • 20T: Highest-speed gearing option with reduced low-speed torque.
  • 22T: Increased top speed with reduced low-speed torque. Approximate top speed of 40 mph / 65 km/h.
  • 24T: Stock gearing with a balanced mix of speed, power, and control. Approximate top speed of 37 mph / 60 km/h.
  • 26T: Increased low-end torque for technical terrain and climbing. Approximate top speed of 34 mph / 55 km/h.
  • 28T: Maximum low-speed torque for steep and technical climbs. Approximate top speed of 31 mph / 50 km/h.

Choosing a Sprocket

  • Smaller sprocket: Higher overall top speed with less low-speed torque
  • Larger sprocket: More low-speed torque and climbing power with a lower top speed

Because the 775 MX uses a fixed-gear drivetrain, selecting the appropriate sprocket is an effective way to tailor the bike's performance to your typical riding conditions.
