The EBMX XLB-60 has been designed to surpass the performance of other motors in its class. Built to stay cool under race conditions, it allows you to focus on riding rather than motor temperatures, whether on track, street, or trail.
- 35 kW rated, 180°C windings with U42H magnets
- Custom IPM rotor with 1mm air gap, rated to 13,000 RPM
- Encoder-based motor control for smooth, predictable power delivery and improved low-end torque
- Includes custom EBMX Bash Plate
Encoder vs Hall Sensors
Encoder sensors provide continuous, precise rotor position tracking at all speeds, delivering a smoother, more responsive, and controllable powerband. Hall sensors, common in other motors, rely on estimated rotor positions and can generate current spikes under demanding riding conditions. EBMX XLB-60 uses encoders to ensure consistent performance and better low-end torque.

- 18" wheels: 58T-64T (75 MPH top speed with 64T/72V)
- 16" wheels: 54-58T
- 17" wheels: 56-60T

For more range, set field weakening to 0%. Example: 64T sprocket on 21/18 wheels with 72V battery can reach 65 MPH and increase range by up to 15%.
